There’s loads of Halloween events in Hampshire that are perfect for the whole family. These October half term activities are great regardless of if your kids like Halloween or not!
Be brave and enjoy the Halloween season throughout Hampshire. There’s plenty of events going on that are perfect for all ages of children, from community events to days out ideas.
These events are all happening is 2020 but please make sure that you check their website and book if needed to avoid disappointment.
Winchester Science Centre
If your kids are less into Halloween and more about the stars then make sure you visit Winchester Science Centre. They have a range of different of events and activities that are all included in your price of your ticket.
The activities change monthly so make sure you check their website.
Owl-O-Ween at Hawk Conservancy Trust
For a more spooky Halloween have a look at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. This family event in Andover is perfect for the whole family.
The kids can create their own crafts and listen to a theme story while watching the owls when the sun does down. Make sure you stay for the owl displays that will really make your Halloween special.
Tickets cost £17.50 which includes a hot dog, pudding and hot drink. This events starts from the 30th October 2020.

Pumpkin Festival at Sunnyfields Farm
Come along to a local farm in Totton and pick your own pumpkins. They have thousands of different sized pumpkins that are perfect for whatever you need them for, including pumpkin carving!
This event is running from 10th October 2020 to 31st October 2020.
Halloween Steam Up at The Brickworks Museum
A great place to visit for the whole family anyway, The Brickworks Museum in Burlesdon is great for the whole family. The Halloween Steam Up is an outside event that is full of steam exhibits including miniature engines, table top model displays and fairground organs.
This events runs of the 25th October 2020. Please make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Halloween trail and Rock painting at St James’s Park
Come along and enjoy a community event with a difference! Enjoy rock painting for £1 a child and then walk around the family trail that’s great for all.
50p each to enter and dressing up is encouraged!
This event runs from 11am to 2pm, on 30th October 2020.
Halloween Spooky Saturday in Bishopstoke
Come join this amazing community event. They are running a pumpkin carving competition from 1pm to 3pm which will be held at the BCA car park. Bring your own pumpkin and tools and see how creative you can be!
Enjoy a trick and treat around the local village while spotting all the amazing dressed houses.
This event is on from 1pm to 830pm on 31st October 2020.
Happy Halloween at Paultons Park
Paultons Park, based in Romsey, is also the home of Peppa Pig World. Paultons Park go all out at Halloween with over 4000 pumpkins scattered throughout the park.
They offer spooky scenes, Halloween decorations plus plenty of ways to see Peppa and George dressed up in their Halloween costumes too.
For the older kids, the park opens a bit later so you can enjoy all the rides lit up as the sun goes down.
You do need to book in advance and your tickets give you access to the whole park, not just the Halloween events! It’s a great place for the whole family.

Halloweenn Disco Party at Port Solent
Come along to Port Solent and enjoy a disco party like no other! Come in fancy dress and bring the little ones for a dance. There will be loads of tricks and treats courtesy of Justin from Children’s Parties Portsmouth.
The discos are run throughout the 25th October 2020 at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Silly Scott and The Creation Station at Port Solent
Dress up and enjoy a silly magic show with Silly Scott. Running at 11am, 1230pm and 2pm, the kids can also create their own Halloween decorations that help you give you that spooky feel.
This event is on 29th October 2020.
Pumpkin Carving & Spooky Themed Model Village at Southsea Model Village
Southsea Model Village themed Spooky Southsea Model Village is great for the whole family. How many graveyards can you spot in the village? Watch out for pumpkin carving, skeletons and spiders galore. Walk down The Terrifying Tunnel of Terror and Creepy Crypt and see how brave you really are!
Pumpkin carving costs £1.50 each and you get to take it home with you. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £4 for kids. No need to book.
This event is running from 10.30am – 4.30pm, 24th October to 1st November 2020.

Spooky Halloween River Tour with New Forest Activities
The Halloween fun is great for older kids. Find out about the history of the region and paddle down the Beaulieu River’s dark waters by starlight. This canoeing tour takes about 90 minutes and stops along the way for some ghostly tales.
The New Forest Activities group are well known for giving great tours of the area. Put on your fancy dress and really enjoy a night to remember. Hot chocolate and sweets ate available for all ticket holders and dressing up is encouraged for all!
This events runs from the 26th October to 31st October 2020. Please book in advance.
Fireworks Spooktacular at Beaulieu National Motor Museum
Enjoy life entertainment and fireworks to music at Beaulieu National Motor Museum. Arrive early to enjoy the museum and all it’s spookiness then have fun on the old fashioned rides.
Make sure you check out their Chitty Chitty Bang Bang family trail too which features 50 years of the famous car.
Booking is a must.
This event takes place at 3pm – 930pm on 31st October 2020.
