How to find Marwell Zoo
You can find Marwell Zoo at Thompson’s Ln, Colden Common, Winchester SO21 1JH. It is 20 minutes from central Southampton by car and there is a Stagecoach 69 that takes you to the entrance. It only runs on Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday’s though and is subject to change so please check before you travel.

What to do at Marwell Zoo
If you’ve never been to Marwell Zoo before then you are in for a real treat! Once through the entrance you’ll experience a forest like theme that takes you through to the penguins on the left.
They are home to a wide range of animals which include zebras, lions, giraffes, rhinos, tigers and many more amazing creatures that you can see up close.
The snow leopards and monkeys are our favourites. Make sure you walk through the lemur house, have fun on the fields on Marwell House and explore all the playgrounds that they have to offer.
Make sure you visit one of the three play grounds that are throughout the zoo. There is one by the Wild Explorers section, one by tigers and one by the Cold Blooded Corner.
Marwell Zoo really is a full day out for the whole family with plenty of places to sit and enjoy all the amazing animals that they have to offer.
The prize
We are giving away four season tickets, two adults and two children, to Marwell Zoo in Hampshire.
Having season tickets as a family means that you can not only visit Marwell Zoo for a whole year as many times as you, but you can also:
- Visit Bristol Zoo, Chester Zoo, Colchester Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo, Highland Wildlife Park Zoo, Paignton Zoo, Newquay Zoo, Twycross Zoo and Rotterdam Zoo for free once a year.

- There’s no need to queue when you have a season ticket. You can use their fast track entry to go straight in!
- Kids get access to the zoos Wild Explorers Club which includes a badge, club meetings and a pack full of information about the many animals the zoo have and look after.
- Unlike normal guests, you can still enter up to one hour before the zoo shuts. Perfect for those after school visits.
