Shorefield Country Park offers self-catering caravans, lodges, houses & treehouse accommodation for families who want to explore the New Forest and beyond. They are really close to Milford-on-Sea which has a great beach and close enough to the New Forest.

They have loads of entertainment like shows, discos and themed nights. They have on-site restaurants, wifi access, a swimming pool, and outdoor sports grounds to keep everyone amused.

Shorefield Country Park is close to Hurst Castle which is part of English Heritage. English Heritage has over 100 sites throughout the UK, 15 being in Hampshire. Have a look at English Heritage membership here as it could save you money in the longer term.*

Gambledown Farm Glamping

Close to Paultons Park, Gambledown Farm Glamping overlooks the Hampshire Downs. Each tent have their own bathrooms and are great with kids. They have a play area under a large covered barn with kids tractor toys, a giant chalk board, ping pong, and swing ball.

Lepe Beach Campsite

Based right on Lepe beach, this is a campsite like no other! This is a pitch for tents only and really gives you that back-to-nature feel. Being set in Lepe Country Park means that there are loads to do for the whole family including playgrounds, loads of trails, the sandy beach, and the wide-open fields.

All the pitches are unmarked and perfect for any size tent. The ground is flat and gives you an amazing view of the water.

The country park and campsite are dog friendly.

Ashurst Campsite

With 280 pitches, Ashurst Campsite has everything you need to explore the New Forest. Really close to Ashurst and Lyndhurst, Ashurst Campsite offers you the middle ground between basic camping and glamping.

Ashurst Campsite do not accept dogs but that’s because they are based right in the New Forest and have local animals that seasonally nest and breed here.

They have on-site bbq grates, toilets, showers, and a launderette making it a great place for families who may not of camped before.

Muddycreek Campsite

This relaxed campsite is great for the whole family. Close to Milford on Sea, Muddycreek Campsite has 50 campsite pitches within 15 acres.

They have great facilities which include hot showers, toilets, and washing-up facilities. Fires are allowed but you need to bring your own wood and fire pit.

This is really close to Hurst Castle. English Heritage own over 100 sites throughout the UK and 15 of them are in Hampshire. Hurst Castle is one of them and its an amazing place to let the kids run about and explore. Have a look at English Heritage membership here.*
